Attah Ameh Oboni and Aji iyoko in Ofante Ogugu

LENGENDARY ATTAH AMEH OBONI AND AJI-IYOKO IN OFANTE OGUGU.
This event am about to tells you happens during 1946-1950 not specify exact time.
Attah Of Igala then Attah Ameh Oboni 1st was an Attah who is more respected in the whole Attah history apart from Attah Ayegba Oma-Idoko who rules the kingdom in the 1682 AD. The Attah Ameh Oboni is believed to have a magical power which he use to protect the Igala people from trouble and he use his power to kick against colonialism and Oppression of his people.
But there was a day,  during this period 1946-1950 when he was traveling round his kingdom, he came to Aji iyoko(a  river in ofante "like a spring water now"). He try to pass and cross over the river but unfortunately his horse was taken by the big river. He was very sad and then lay a curse on the river.
Saying: "River you shall no flow anymore, people who want to fetch you will use plate to try to get you into their pot,(meaning you shall not longer be big again but small). You shall not longer pass your boundary anymore, you shall be coming out little by little from the ground"
In Igala:" Aji ebo cha gbegbele ge'n,  ugba MA de gba, ebi dufu ebi dufu".
After that he left there,  and the river became like that as he say up to date, the river is still like that.
As the only natural source of water for ofante people who uses plate and cup to fetch water into their rubber or basin.
Aji Iyoko is located in ofante Ogugu in Olamaboro local government kogi state.
