REASONS WHY IGALAS NEED OUR OWN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY ON OUR OWNS AS IGALA.
the agitation to
liberate the middle belt from the core North would
be meaningless if we still subject ourselves to the
south or any other region after the disintegration of
Nigeria.
For we to be satisfied, we must be independent. We
have come of age.
We have large and productive land for all purposes,
vast mineral resources, and loving people.
Everyone wants to be attached with the middle belt
because all their interest is to exploit our rich
mineral resources not because they truly have our
interest at heart.
My regrets for middle belt is that they lost their
cultures to either the North or south and inferiority
complex.
Most feel happy when they speak another mans
language than theirs or elated when they claim
another mans state of origin than theirs. No unique
way of dressing, it is either they are copying the
core Northerner or the southerners. Being a
minority does not take your right from you. The
ijaws, urhobo of even itshekiri in the south south
are all minorities but have been able to hold their
over the years thus more relevant in today's
Nigeria.
Though, being multi ethnic and religion in nature, we
would still have a major issue to battle with if
independent but believe me, no country is void of
issues. It is better we fight for total independence
than basking in euphoria of been attached to a
region.
