How Igala were Cut from south

HOW IGALA AND IDOMA PEOPLE WERE CUT FROM EASTERN REGION AND PUT THEM IN NORTH CENTER(MIDDLE BELT).
Igala ethnic group in Kogi State are sharing the same land boundary with the Igbo at the north side with the Idoma people in Benue State. Before 1960s Idah which is the traditional headquarter of Igala people were medge with the Onitsha as protectorate. All powers were shares among them. Some part of Igala kingdom were divided and some to Gboko protectorate. (IDAH in Igala Land is up to 15 minutes drive to Nsukka). Igala and Idoma were fully involved in economy running in the eastern part.
Later in 1960s, some part of Igala kingdom and the whole Idoma land were ceeded to the north center. Igala people in Kogi state are sharing the same land boundary with the Igbo, Igala land extend to anambra, Enugu, Ebony I.
The Igala people shares the same culture and tradition with the Igbo like 
The Igalas have five market days so as to Igbo. 
The I galas called cassava Abacha so as to Igbo.
The I galas called Rice osikapa so as to Igbo
The I galas uses kola and palm wine as sign of respect and greetings so as to Igbo.
The called vegetables as Ugwu so as to Igbo.
In terms of names, Igala bears okolo, onah, On uh, Atama, Am aka, Oge, Ejura and so on so as to Igbo.
The I galas has various masquerade festivals so as to Igbo.
The relationship cannot be undermined. In terms of economy, the I galas have coal in some part, oil which the I galas and Igbo are fighting for, limestone which the so called Dangote is using the Igala limestone in making money for his cement production, Agriculture, Yam and Cassava in largest quantity and so on.
Igala land are blessed with steel but due to Nigeria Bad government we were not able to exploit.
